I grew up in Southern California, in Ventura County, until I was 17 years old. My first experience with a camera was when I was about 12. I would go to Yosemite National Park and other spectacular wonders of nature and I was given a Yashica-mat 124 Camera and one roll of film (15 shots) each day. I learned early on that I better make each picture count. For the next 25 years, I know my equipment pretty well. I took the Nikon route in my professional life.

When the digital cameras came out, it was a whole new experience. No more spending time in the dark room. The learning curve seemed impossible but at least I knew what the terminology  meant.

I have traveled across the world shooting everything from models to sharks underwater. My landscape and wedding photography was the main stay of my business for years. As I move into the moving-picture business, I will give this medium the same attention-to-detail as I have give the rest of my photography works.
